50 Year Celebration in Piet Retief
Brokoop’s Piet Retief branch celebrated the company’s 50th anniversary on Thursday 14 November 2019, with a golf day, which teed off at 09h00 at the Paulpietersburg Golf Course and was supported by 24 of our clients. The day was enjoyed by all, even though it rained most of the day as the golfers dried off in the pub later and enjoyed a scrumptious lunch with cold beverages. The golf champions of the day were Willi Gevers, Craig Holliday, Charl Beneke and Ralf Gevers.
The celebration continued with a festive dinner at Fels Retreat, situated just outside the small rural town of Paulpietersburg surrounded by plantations with the Dumbe mountain as the backdrop. As Paulpietersburg is a farming community, the majority of clients in attendance were farmers who form the core of our Piet Retief client base. The evening started off in a relaxed atmosphere around the braai place and was attended by approximately 80 guests. The festivities ended off with speeches by Renier Steffen, Brokoop Piet Retief Branch Manager, and Belynda Hendry, Brokoop General Manager.
